What peripheral devices can be supported by Jack-PC?
Most peripheral devices will work:
a. Most keyboards (including wireless keyboards)
b. Most mice (including wireless mice)
c. All USB printers
d. Most USB storage devices including USB keys and cameras
e. Approved wireless USB devices
f. Approved USB smart-card readers
g. Most USB touch-screen controllers
h. Approved USB to PS/2 converters
i. Approved USB to 1/2 serial ports
Yes. Most storage devices are supported.
Note: for security reasons by default anything other than keyboard and mouse is blocked. Specific user or device policy is needed to enable this support
Yes. Certain USB wireless devices are supported using specific XPIs (plug-ins). For more information on wireless LAN products supported check compatibility list on Chip PC web-site.
What local applications can be run on the Jack-PC?
Only Plug-Ins supplied by Chip PC. This includes:
a. Citrix ICA client
b. Microsoft RDP client
c. Local browser
d. Local media player
e. Management clients
f. Local printing applications
g. Local security applications
h. Special drivers to support various external peripherals
i. Various Terminal Emulations
j. Small applications ported to .NET / Win CE environment (for example - POS)
